Role: The Portfolio Administrator supports the implementation of ISG strategies and key projects of the team. This individual is responsible for a wide range of duties related to trading, operations, and compliance. We are always growing, innovating, and improving. This individual should expect a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Overall Responsibilities
- Support trading operations (Equities and Fixed Income).
- Document portfolio manager’s trade decisions in accordance with compliance standards.
- Support with administration of outside investment trading platforms for both options and retirement plan providers.
- Review client transactions and activity.
- Manage, translate, and analyze data.
- Assist in creating ad-hoc reports for both ISG team and firm advisors.
- Execute investment operations processes (trade reconciliation, report audits, systems maintenance, compliance tasks).
- Help introduce automation and scalability to ISG processes and task management. Will play a role in new software evaluation.
- Master technologies and tools (Tamarac, Salesforce, Schwab Institutional Intelligent Portfolios).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Knowledge of and interest in financial products and capital markets.
- Technologically proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel), portfolio management software such as Tamarac, Salesforce CRM, and custodial platforms.
- Familiarity with or interest in a programming or scripting language
- Commitment to teamwork, continual improvement, and accuracy.
- Versatility, flexibility, and an ability to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
